Overcoming Setbacks: Everyone experiences setbacks in their fitness journeys.
I have hit several in my almost 2 year journey. From illness, work, family, long hours, and just life in general. I have stalled, stopped, but never gave up! Watch me Push every day even with the smallest change to get to my goals! Mindset is EVERYTHING!! Believing we can is the first step!
Setbacks are part of the process, so it’s important to accept that progress isn’t always linear. Instead of focusing solely on the end goal, focus on the small wins and the progress you’re making, both mentally and physically. Celebrate how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go.
Plateaus often happen when your body adjusts to your routine, so it’s a sign that it might be time to reassess your goals or change your approach. You may need to increase intensity or try new workouts to challenge your body in different ways.
Your body is incredibly adaptive, and doing the same workout or following the same diet plan for an extended period can lead to a plateau. Mixing up your workouts (strength training, HIIT, yoga, cycling, etc.) or tweaking your diet can help re-stimulate weight loss.
Consistency is key. Even if the scale isn’t moving, your body is still adapting and changing. Trust that the effort you’re putting in will pay off in the long run.

When setbacks and plateaus arise, remind yourself why you started this journey in the first place. Whether it’s to feel more confident, improve your health, or set a positive example for others, reconnecting with your purpose can reignite your motivation.
